The Scratching Post (cat rescue) is a cat rescue charity, based in Cheshunt - Goffs Oak (Herts), but covering a much wider area.

We have a rescue cattery, based in the calm surroundings of a Hertfordshire farm, with cat friendly accommodation, including 10 large pens, a communal facility with sofas, chairs and a small garden for the cats to have some air. We understand the importance of the cats mental well being as well as its physical.

Our policy is to ensure that no cat is ever kept in unsuitable accommodation while it is waiting for a home. Every cat's individual needs will be catered for and the best expert help will be offered.

We have first-rate volunteers on board plus some superb vets.

We have shops in Lancaster Road, Enfield and St Marks Road, Bush Hill Park, Enfield.
